The Values Learnt

This reflective journal is based on the experience that I had gained from Principles of Accountings in my first semester with Taylor's University. Compiled with both the group assignment and professional development week activity. It has granted me a learning advantage to a greater degree and it is vital that I identify those key points that reflect to my daily lives and for my future projections in mind.

The first of what I had gained was a clearer knowledge in terms of accounting financials. Accounting is beneficial in which it leads me to realize no matter how large or small a company or an individual could get is it always needs a solid accountancy. For my current and future projections, the other point is efficient time management that serves as the biggest gap between a successful and proper assignment or a second-rated one. In the past few days when I was handling the class project namely the drama, within the next two days after the drama I need to have the accounts assignment completed in time. It really seemed quite traumatic at first hand but with a higher productivity rate combined with good use of time solved the dilemma.

Next would be based on my need to propose a presentation for professional development week. I was selected as the leader in the group for the activity. In my personal perspective, it had given me a great determination to not fail the team and has projected a sense of motivating the group, as contribution for their effort was not the comprehensive target idea at first. I had to strive harder to produce satisfactory results. The team started to work better when I got the chance to know them better, I take that chance to identify what are the needs to be fulfilled and I provided mutual respect and things started to get into shape.

As a concluded reflection, generally it is best that I keep track on what I had identified and make use of the points provoked at its fullest. What I had achieved and would learn continuously is the process of thinking critically as it shows a systematic stance to find out the conducive solution deemed to be resorted to. After the tasks, I would like to keep in mind that with hard work comes a greater outcome as the infamous Warren Buffet once quoted "price is what you pay but value is what you get".
